Wet Felted Sculpture with Chrissie Menzies

On this workshop we will be making wet felt and using different methods to make a piece of Sculptural Felt. The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with a knowledge of wet felt making. We will be laying out wool fibres and making a piece of pre felt which can then have stitch added to make the 3D effects before felting by hand. We will also be adding glass beads and other small items to add further 3D effects.

At the end of the day you will all have a good knowledge of different methods used in the felting process to make a Sculptural piece of Felt which can be further enhanced by adding hand embroidery at home.
