Traditional Welsh Quilting with Sheila Davis

Why not have a go at learning this wonderful skill? During this course, we will look at some traditional Welsh quilting patterns and see some of our heritage quilts close up. We’ll also look at a traditional quilting frame close up and find out how it works.

This course will enable you to design your own pattern for a square cushion cover using the traditional Welsh templates. You will then learn how to card wool to use as the batting, layer up the fabric and start your quilting journey. This is a great beginners course for anyone wanting to learn about quilting.

Sheila Davis is an experienced quilter using traditional methods. Sheila is a Trustee of the Quilt Association and passionate about quilting.
