About the event

ree

Spend the day producing both fabric and paper samples created by using a dyeing technique incorporating dye blankets and vegetation. This is a natural follow on from the ecoprinting workshop. You will explore using a combination of ecoprinting and the use of dye blankets. Experiment with natural dye, logwood, dried seed heads and leaves to produce decorative delicate prints. Your unique paper and fabric pieces can be used for a variety of mixed media and craft projects. The tutor will provide most materials for this workshop.

Students are encouraged to bring along any dried grasses, seed heads and leaves that they wish to experiment with. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.

Jane Hunter is a textile artist from Liverpool and based in Wales.
