Summer Stitch - It Sessions!

This summer, we're celebrating Kaleidoscopes with our exhibition of antique and heritage quilts!  And that means a lot of colour! Join Contemporary Textile Artist Jen Keen for a fun, creative embroidery workshop inspired by the striking geometric designs found throughout the exhibition.

Perfect for young makers, this session will introduce participants to a selection of basic embroidery stitches while exploring how different textures of tread influence your creations and can be used to create eye-catching textile art. Using the quilts and kaleidoscope patterns as inspiration, children will design and stitch their own unique embroidered artwork to take home.

All materials provided.
