Raise the Roof! 

In October 2025, we discovered a serious leak from our adjoining flat roof down the interior wall of our main gallery. We called on public support for funding to support covering the cost to fix the leak and held several fundraising events.

Over the last 6 months we have been overwhelmed by the support of our members and supporters, and through our fundraising efforts have raised a total of £10,600 including a donation of £2000 from the Davies Sisters Charity.

Recently, we have uncovered a pipe which had corroded in a wall which was causing the most serious of water ingress which has enabled to to stem the flow. The roof remains leaking and we have cordoned off a section of the gallery to enable us to continue operating until a time in which we are able to fix the leak.

Our estimated costs for fixing and making good the leak are over £20,000 and our fundraising efforts continue.
