Donate to The Quilt Association
The Quilt Association is a registered charity. Each year, we have to raise the money to support the care and conservation of our nationally and internationally important quilt collection. The collection promotes patchwork and quilting, holds family stories and histories and inspires a new generation in endangered crafts.
Our aim is to increase the awareness and understanding of these precious quilts and create opportunities for people to learn from them and enjoy them. We fundraise through applying for grants, through fundraising activities and through our members support.
You can support us by donating online, donating fabric or quilting supplies, making and donating mini A4 sized quilts for our Cash4Quilts project, and by joining as a Member. You can also organise fundraising at any point in the year through events or your workplace. You can also ask your workplace to sponsor The Quilt Association's events and activities.

MAKE MINI QUILTS FOR CASH4QUILTS
Since 2013, we have been running a project called Cash4Quilts. This project was conceived by one of our ex Trustees as a one year fundraiser, and has proved so popular with supporters and customers that we have kept it going.
If you would like to make mini A4 sized quilts for us to sell at our exhibitions, please do and bring them in. All donations are appreciated. We are currently selling the quilts for £10 each.
When you donate your items, please think about selecting GiftAid which adds an additional 25% on to the total value of your donated items sold.
DONATE FABRIC OR QUILTING SUPPLIES
We all have excess quilting supplies and fabric sitting around. If you're having a big stash clear out, downsizing or supporting someone else to do so, think about donating your fabric and good quality quilting supplies to us. As part of our exhibitions, we sell fabric and haberdashery supplies in our small pop up shop. This is an increasingly crucial for income generation as well as giving your unwanted things a new destiny.
