Welsh Heritage Quilters

Welsh Heritage Quilters' group ethos is to promote and encourage participation in all aspects of patchwork and quilting, to share knowledge, and to inspire members to expand their skills and creativity.

We are a welcoming and supportive group with a varied programme, which offers a mix of social afternoons and more structured sessions, featuring guest speakers, demonstration and group activities.

Topics range from essential foundation skills to advanced techniques, and there are occasional workshops led by professional quilters as well as charity quilting days. Each meeting begins with a much-loved “show and tell” session, where members share finished pieces, works in progress, or items of special interest. Tea, biscuits - and sometimes cake - add to the friendly spirit.

Members also benefit from shared resources including a well-stocked quilting library, sewing machines, cutting and sewing equipment, and a quilt-stretching frame.
