Visual Arts Group

Come and explore your creativity, play and learn new visual art techniques. We are friendly and supportive group both in and outside of the workshop which is an important element of our group. Each month sees us learn a new technique through demonstrations and we then spend time playing and growing our skills.

Some of the techniques we have recently looked at are embellishment and felting, perspective and colour theory, ceramics and gelli plate printing.

The theme is shared in advance and attendees bring their own resources. The group is really supportive and willing to share where they can.

We host a biennial exhibition where we display our creations around a theme which takes in Minerva Arts Centre.

Annual membership is £30, and each member pays £2.50 per session
