Simplifying The Curve with Lynn Kinsey

Curves are often avoided as it thought that they are very difficult. In this workshop I will show you how easy it is to deal with curves and how to achieve an excellent result. This is suitable for all levels and can be completed by hand or by machine. Spend the day producing both fabric and paper samples created by using a dyeing technique incorporating dye blankets and vegetation. This is a natural follow on from the ecoprinting workshop. You will explore using a combination of ecoprinting and the use of dye blankets. Experiment with natural dye, logwood, dried seed heads and leaves to produce decorative delicate prints. Your unique paper and fabric pieces can be used for a variety of mixed media and craft projects. The tutor will provide most materials for this workshop.
