Family Session - Create Your Own Kaleidoscope!

This summer, we're celebrating Kaleidoscopes with our exhibition of antique and heritage quilts!

Step into a world of colour and light! In this hands-on workshop, families will create their very own kaleidoscope windows! — Works of art that catch the light and fill any room with spinning, shifting rainbows.

Using coloured acetate, tissue paper, and a few simple materials, you'll learn the geometry of symmetry and the magic of how light transforms colour — then take home a unique piece you made together. No experience needed, just curiosity and a love of colour.

Suitable for ages 3 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
