The Quilt Association

The Quilt Association promotes quilting and patchwork from its base at The Minerva Arts Centre in Llanidloes, Mid Wales.

What we do

The Quilt Association is a registered charity, run by volunteers, and focuses on the following activities:

  • Caring for its collection of antique quilts, many of which are from the local area.
  • Holding an annual summer exhibition, featuring antique and contemporary quilts.
  • Providing a programme of related workshops.

The Minerva Arts Centre

The Centre is used for other exhibitions, textile, crafts and arts related throughout the remainder of the year. The facilities can be hired, and are popular with other organisations for workshops, lectures and courses.
