The Workroom can be used as in conjunction with other areas of the Centre for large scale events such as exhibitions or fairs, or as a stand-alone venue.
It is well equipped for textile and arts workshops, with a double sink and water, multiple electric points, large tables and chairs. Sewing machines are also available for hire.
There is a large window along one side of the room and all the walls are drylined and ideal for exhibiting work, either in the form of an exhibition or as a short term display area during a workshop.
The Workroom is a very versatile space, and has also been hired by local and national groups for talks, presentations and weekly activities such as Weightwatchers.
