Jackie Cardy - Felting Workshop

A two day workshop to create a felted embroidered panel. On day one we will make and use prefelts to create a painterly decorative background, using the wet felting technique to interpret your own designs, or using templates if preferred. On the second day there will be an introduction to free machine embroidery to add texture and detail to the panel, followed by the use of hand stitch to add fine decorative elements to the piece. Hints for finishing and presentation will be covered.
