Our Japanese visitors

Trustee Doreen Gough last week being introduced to the Japanese visitors at The Minerva Arts Centre. The President of the Quilters' Guild in Japan is on her left. She gave them a guided tour of the summer show, and they were thrilled to see the variety of antique and contemporary quilts being exhibited.
Later the visitors were introduced to members of the resident quilt group - the Welsh Heritage Quilters. With the help of a translator they shared tips and ideas on quilting projects.
There was a busy "show and tell" session.
It turned into one big quilting party!
The visitors moved on to the shop before leaving and enjoyed some serious retail therapy!
